Huaphan told to speed up development, address corruption
Huaphan authorities have been told to speed up socio-economic development and address corruption in the northern province. During his recent working trip to the province, Deputy Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone told leading provincial officials to work harder in their leadership role to fight poverty, contributing to the nationwide effort to raise Laos out of Least Developed Country status by 2020.
